MEET THE DOCTOR

   Dr. Reynolds is a native of Kanawha county and has been practicing Dermatology since 1986.  He graduated from East Bank High School in 1974 and later graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from West Virginia University in 1978.

       Dr. Reynolds received his Doctorate degree in Medicine from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1982.  He then served a one year Internal Medicine internship at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV from 1982-1983.  He completed a three year dermatology residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA in 1986 and was Chief Resident form 1985- 1986.  Dr. Reynolds began his Dermatology practice in Charleston, WV in association with Dr. Robert Point in 1986.  When Dr. Point retired in 1987, Dr. Reynolds took over the practice. 

      In 1986, Dr. Reynolds was licensed by the West Virginia Board of Medicine and was board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.  Since 1986,  he has been a member of of the American Academy of Dermatology, West Virginia Dermatological Society, American Medical Association, West Virginia State Medical Association and Kanawha Medical Society.   For more then thirty years, Dr. Reynolds has been a Clinical Assistant Professor or a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, Charleston campus, where he has participated in teaching a mentoring medical students and residents involved with the West Virginia University School of Medicine and Charleston Area Medical Center.
